No matter which direction you decide to follow first, you’ll be delighted by the multitude of sights and attractions blooming all over the area. Just a bit to the west you’ll find the majestic Pantheon, the splendid Piazza Navona surrounded with dozens of top cafés, bars and pizzerias; and don’t forget to grab some gelato if you get the chance!
Head north-west and cross the Tiber to check out the impressive site of Castel Sant’Angelo. A few more steps to the west will take you to the legendary City of Vatican. But you won’t be disappointed if you take it to the east. And why’s that? Because you’ll need only a 10-15 minute walk to get to the massive Spanish Steps! How’s that for a treat? And should you care to explore the southern part of the neighborhood, this is where you’ll come across the one and only Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum, and the ever-amazing Colosseum.
