Colosseum Domus Aurea Apartment Rome

This comfortable 2-bedroom ground floor apartment for up to five guests is located right next to the Colosseum. 

Via a small hallway you enter the Colosseum Domus Aurea Apartment Rome. A lounge area with TV and two single beds on a mezzanine welcomes you. These beds can also be used as comfortable sofas. The next room comes with a dining table for six and on your left hand side the bathroom with a walk in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a washing machine. From the dining room you can enter the master bedroom where you will find a double bed and a single bed. This room has a lot of character, antique and modern pieces of art combine very well with the wooden floors.

Enjoy the view from the apartment on the Domus Aurea park, a nice hang out for a daily stroll or to play a game of soccer with the local Italians. This Rome holiday apartment near the Colosseum is surrounded by bars and restaurants. Metro B is just a short walk.


This apartment is located right in the heart of the historical city centre of Rome, in the Domus Aurea, from where emperor Nero used to rule the eternal city. At a stone's throw from the Colosseum and Foro Romano. The Colosseum, opened in 80 AD, is the most iconic of sights in Rome. The Amphitheatre has captured the hearts and minds of locals and tourists alike and is often considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and engineering. The Foro Romano is equally impressive, considered the oldest part of the city and home to several important Government buildings dating from the height of the Roman Empire. Spending a few hours walking around the Forum gives you an idea of the just how impressive the city would have been 2000 years ago. 

Other major Rome attractions including the stunning Trevi Fountain, one of the largest fountains in Rome. This fountain stands 26 metres high and 20 metres wide and it is said that visitors should throw a coin into the fountain to ensure a return to Rome in the future. Just a few hundred metres from the Trevi fountain are the Spanish Steps, the widest steps in Europe and something that must be visited on any trip to the city. From the bottom of the steps make your way to Piazza del Popolo, Northern Rome’s biggest piazza complete with an obelisk, lion sculptures, churches and a beautiful garden located just above. Walking around this amazing city you will be confronted with historic sights on every corner and this apartment is in the ideal location to do just that. If you do need to travel further afield, the apartment is well served by the Metro.
